El Coaching a través de la Programación Neuro-Lingüística

 

Contemplando mi carrera profesional y mi experiencia de vida me he encontrado con muchas personas distintas, tantas, cómo la combinación de valores que puede encontrarse en cada una de ellas, porque cada persona es diferente cómo así lo son sus valores.

Algunos de estos valores son, Comunicación, Compañerismo, Altruismo, Trabajo, Felicidad, Dinero, Generosidad, Alegría, …una lista muy larga.

Los valores son los motivos que nos mueven a realizar nuestras elecciones, actos, comportamientos, nos condicionan nuestras creencias.

Este es uno de los ejercicios escritos que se realizan en los servicios de coaching, escribir un listado de tus valores en cada área de tu vida, – la familiar, profesional, amistad, pareja, hobbies, – para que puedas conocerte y hacer consciente si son congruentes o no con tu vida y objetivos.

 

A diferencia del coaching, si añadimos las técnicas de Programación Neuro- Lingüística, el llamado coaching con PNL, podrás realizar el cambio y transformación adecuada. Escribirlo en un papel o que te lo digan no sirve de nada porque eres tú quien tiene que hacerlo y ponerlo en práctica.

A través de este tipo de ejercicios, podrás cambiar el orden de tus valores, cambiando tus creencias limitantes, creencias antiguas, que en su día aprendiste para tu bien pero que en este momento, para ti y tu futuro no te son útiles.

Produciendo así al final de la sesión que cambies tu comunicación, percepción y encuentres nuevos recursos o capacidades que antes no podías ver.

El coaching con Programación Neuro-Lingüística es una forma de mejorar tu vida, o tu profesión, lo que tú anheles, consiguiendo los objetivos que te propongas para mejorar de manera eficiente y rápida. El o la coach te guiarán a ello durante el proceso con los ejercicios y técnicas adecuadas.
Los ejercicios trabajan a través de tus sentidos aportándote la información necesaria para hacer consciente tu situación y cómo conseguir solucionarla, cambiar o mejorar dependiendo de lo que se trate.

Eliminando aquello que ya no es útil para ti e implementando aquello que si lo es desde ese momento, en tu día a día.

Trabajando a través de visualizaciones, sonidos, sensaciones, sentimientos o emociones aprenderás acerca de tus propias conductas y el porqué. Dándoles el sentido adecuado para poder cambiarlas, si son perjudiciales para ti, o a mejorarlas si tu objetivo es potenciar.

Por supuesto, cambiando tus conductas, lenguaje y pensamientos también cambiarás tu fisiología, mejorando tu bienestar y salud.

Cómo crear sintonía con las personas de manera Eficiente a través de la PNL

 

Ver el lenguaje no verbal, escuchar SUS palabras y Sentir sus Emociones, así de sencillo y que difícil es para algunos ponerlo en práctica.

Nuestra mente expresa la información a través del lenguaje, es el medio que tenemos para expresar nuestros pensamientos, emociones, experiencias…y por supuesto, comunicarnos cómo vemos nuestra propia realidad, lo que se llama en Programación Neuro-Lingüística, nuestro mapa.

“Nada ocurre sin lenguaje, sin hablar y sin escuchar”.

Hoy escribiré sobre algunos conceptos básicos existentes en la PNL y que sirven para comunicarnos y empatizar con la otra persona de manera adecuada.

Rapport: Es la habilidad de empatizar y entrar en el mundo de la persona con la que estamos presentes. Es un proceso de seguir e igualar su comunicación verbal y no verbal.

Calibración: Es la conciencia y reconocimiento de lo que una persona hace mientras opera desde su experiencia. Movimientos, giros, posturas mientras se expresa.

Anclaje: Es marcar un pensamiento o un estado con una sensación a través de un gesto y así reactivar ese pensamiento o proceso sensitivo emocional que inició ese pensamiento a través de esa señal en cualquier momento.

 

Estos conceptos son los que se practican en sesiones de coaching, durante los primeros minutos con la persona, es la vía para empatizar y ver su mundo a través de sus ojos,  para entender su experiencia sensorial lo más real posible y así desarrollar una sesión adecuada.

 

Hay personas que han desarrollado más ciertos sentidos que otros y esto, se reflejará en su lenguaje y sus conductas.

Cinestésico: temperatura,  emociones, mímica, ritmo respiratorio, tono muscular, presión. Cuando experimentamos el Gusto: a través de los sabores dulce, amargo, salado, agrio;

El olor : a madera, a sudor,  a humedad, a hierba mojada, a lavanda, perfume…

El olfato y el gusto se comprenden dentro del sentido cinestésico.

Visual: colores, escenas, acciones…

Auditivo: tono de voz, palabras, altura de voz, volumen, timbre.

Los sentidos nos ayudan a descubrir cómo vivimos nuestras experiencias en el día a día y que nuestra mente guarda y programa junto con ellas en la parte inconsciente.

La comunicación  tiene que ser lo más entendible para el receptor, con lo que el lenguaje utilizado tendrá que ser según el canal predominante que utilice la otra persona. Si es auditivo, pues utilizar palabras alegóricas a éste, escucho, oigo, o si es visual, por ej. Los verbos ver, mirar,…. para expresar nuestro mensaje de manera asertiva. El sentir, con las personas predominantes cinestésicas.

Hablando sobre la comunicación y resumiendo, estos son algunos puntos que deben darse para una buena comunicación:

  • Piensa lo que vas a decir, empatiza con la realidad de la otra persona, y respeta sus opiniones.
  • Mantén una escucha activa entre las partes para un correcto entendimiento.

 

Si quieres crear sintonía con las personas que te relacionas opera a través de estos recursos para comunicarte y captar la experiencia de la otra persona de manera eficiente.

It´s not What You Say, it´s How You Say

Have you stopped a few minutes to think about what do you choose for reading? And who?

 

When we read, we have affective responses, we can feel emotions and visualize images and histories from a novel, from a newspaper, a haiku or even with a chat conversation using social media as we do actually.

And these words make us feel empathy, learn and behave when we assimilate at the end its literariness, its words, making a good reflection if it´s a good one.

That´s why is important which books or words we choose to read so they enrich our life instead to achieve a poorly wisdom or knowledge.

Literature can give standards and pass on deep knowledge, if has a good narrative and language, a rich vocabulary and description for achieving empathy and understanding with Others and with Yourself.

So, when you read ask yourself how are you feeling? If it´s not good for you…change of book or conversation matter¡

Our minds don´t make difference between what´s real and what´s imagination for future situations that´s why when reading we enjoy of two different feelings:

  1. Narrative Feelings: Are the affective states directed toward characters and events and include identification, empathy and sympathy.  Feeling yourself inside the scene,    that´s why the importance of Personal Factors.
  2. Aesthetic Feelings: Are directed toward the formal features of the text, and include appreciating the beauty of the form, getting yourself focused on the writing style.

Both kind of feelings reinforce one another in a process of oscillation. And are moderately to strongly correlated.

These interrelations depend on the influence of personal factors as personal experience or trait empathy, generating as a result to get identified with characters.

Literature can train, and exercise our ability to weep for those who are not us or ours. Your imagination will take you through this path, walking a mile in a stranger´s shoes.

Making us think about how to relate to others, to ethical issues, and how to live in general, being easier to experience your real life if happens something similar to you because your mind has imagined before while reading.

Imaginery has an important role too. Our minds don´t make difference between what´s real and what´s imagination when future real situations present in front of us.

  • Using the metaphor, your own imaginery and life experiences will be the characters of the narrative because of the analogic language on it. Working directly your right part of the brain. Helping to connect feeling, experience and a better understanding of yourself.
  • Using a text really detailed and with a good description and vocabulary, giving you all the information, as per example Under the Tuscan Sun by Frances Mayes, your imaginery it´s going to be guided seeing it yourself out of the scene as if you were watching a movie.

Then, What have to accomplish a good book or conversation so we can learn and have emphatic and reflective reactions?

What is in a text that makes us understand ourselves or others better?

What bring to the text or to our talking, our personal experiences and our general disposition to empathize?

Following Miall and Kuiken studies, it´s the following:

  • Using more semantic and phonetic foregrounding were perceived as more striking and evoked more affect.
  • A grammatical foregrounding seemed to have a little effect.

 

Now an interesting exercise you can do:

Write on a paper the first eight words come out from your mind and while you are read one by one …

How do you feel with each one?

Now… with who are you going to talk or… who…, what…, are you going to read?
